WHO
WE ARE
Josie’s House of Help, Inc. was established in honor of Josie T. Burnett, a woman whose life embodied
compassion, generosity, and unwavering service to her community. After her passing, her granddaughter Davina Cook felt called to preserve Josie’s legacy in a meaningful and lasting way. What began as a tribute to one woman’s heart for helping others grew into a purpose‑driven nonprofit committed to uplifting families across Central Florida.
What began as a family’s tribute has grown into a trusted community resource. Today, Josie’s House of Help stands as a beacon of stability and encouragement—uplifting seniors, empowering youth, and strengthening households throughout Central Florida. The organization’s history is rooted in love, shaped by service, and driven by a commitment to building stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities
